AR0341

The AR0341AT Hyperlux™ is a 3 MP automotive-grade CMOS image sensor featuring a 1/3.6-inch optical format and 1920 × 1536 resolution at up to 60 fps. Built around onsemi 2.1 μm super-exposure pixel technology, it delivers up to 150 dB HDR with LED Flicker Mitigation (LFM) while maintaining industry-leading low power consumption. Designed for ADAS, autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and machine vision applications, the AR0341AT combines excellent low-light performance, functional safety features, and compact camera integration.

Cost-effective Power Delivery Design for AR0341 Image Sensor

The AR0341AT Hyperlux™ image sensor requires dedicated analog, digital core, and I/O supply rails. For 5 V input systems, the power tree utilizes a combination of a FAN53745 buck regulator with NCP114, NCP189, and NCP163 low-noise LDO regulators to generate the required voltage rails. For 5 V to 18 V power-over-coax applications, the highly integrated NCV92310 PMIC provides power conversion and sequencing in a single device, simplifying remote camera implementations. In 48 V industrial and automotive systems, a FAN6500x/FAN65004C buck regulator generates an intermediate rail that feeds the downstream regulators. Additional configurations support local or remote ISP architectures, while MCU-controlled sequencing ensures proper power-up and power-down timing. This architecture combines efficient power conversion with low-noise regulation to maximize HDR performance, LED flicker mitigation, and image quality in ADAS and machine vision systems.
