ARX383

The ARX383 Hyperlux™ SG is a 0.3 MP VGA global shutter CMOS image sensor featuring a 1/8-inch optical format and 640 × 480 resolution at up to 120 fps. Its 2.8 μm global shutter pixels enable accurate capture of fast-moving scenes without motion distortion, while maintaining low power consumption and excellent image quality. The ARX383 is ideal for machine vision, robotics, industrial sensing, autonomous systems, and space-constrained embedded vision applications.

Cost-effective Power Delivery Design for ARX383 Image Sensor

The ARX383 Hyperlux™ SG image sensor requires dedicated analog, digital core, and I/O supply rails. For 5 V input systems, the power tree utilizes NCP163, NCP114, and T30LMPSR165 low-noise regulators to generate the required voltage domains. For 5 V to 18 V applications, designers can choose between a discrete solution using the NCP737, NCP114, T30LMPSR165, and NCP163, or a highly integrated NCV92310 PMIC optimized for power-over-coax camera modules. In 48 V industrial systems, a FAN65004C 6 A buck regulator generates an intermediate supply rail that feeds the downstream regulators. Additional configurations support integration with the AP1302 ISP for local or remote image processing. MCU-controlled sequencing ensures proper power-up and power-down timing, while the combination of efficient power conversion and ultra-low-noise regulation maximizes global shutter performance, image quality, and system reliability.
