The program builds digital literacy, problem-solving and creativity, especially in underserved districts.
Global Reach and Local Impact
These grants will collectively impact millions of learners across Asia, Europe and North America. Each project is tailored to meet local needs, ensuring that underrepresented students from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities have access to high-quality STEAM education and career pathways.
Empowering the Future
The ON Semiconductor Foundation’s investment goes beyond financial support — it’s a commitment to building a brighter future. By funding these projects, we aim to inspire curiosity, creativity and critical thinking in students worldwide. Investing in STEAM careers is crucial, especially in fields like semiconductors, where there is a significant global talent gap. According to the Deloitte 2025 Semiconductor Industry Outlook, the global semiconductor sector will need to hire about 1 million additional skilled workers by 2030 to meet growing demand.
