Prior to this he worked at Texas Instruments in the WEBENCH Design Tools team as the Application and Software manager. At TI he also worked on technology development of advanced 90- and 65-nm CMOS technology using Technology Computer-Aided Design (TCAD) tools. Before this he was at Intel Corporation, Hillsboro, OR and Santa Clara, CA working on TCAD development, hot-carrier transport modeling and Monte Carlo simulations of advanced devices. He helped develop the technology for 180-nm and tri-gate devices through simulations and modeling. Prior to that was on the design team for first quarter-micron Pentium MMX mobile processor where he designed and modeled I/O buffers. He got his Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, and M.S. and Ph.D. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, all in electrical engineering. In his spare time, he loves to play Indian music on his Hawaiian guitar and draw cartoons that have been published in newspapers and magazines.
