Global Philanthropy Manager

Jackie Terry is a seasoned PR professional with over twenty years’ experience in executing public relations initiatives, working with the press, coordinating large-scale events, creating social investment strategies and developing community partnerships as well as implementing charitable giving programs. Currently, Jackie is a Global Philanthropy Manager at onsemi. In this position, she oversees the company’s global giving and employee volunteerism programs. Jackie is a former Community Outreach & Site Events Leader for PayPal Arizona. In this role, she functioned as the lead consultant on projects that supported community involvement and employee engagement objectives. Before PayPal, Jackie was a Community Relations Manager working under the direction of Arizona State University (ASU)’s Vice President and University Dean of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a Partner Relations Manager for ASU’s College of Technology and Innovation. Prior to ASU, Jackie was IKEA Tempe’s Public Relations and Local Marketing Manager for almost eight years and before working at IKEA, Jackie was a Communications Specialist with ConocoPhillips for five years. Furthermore, Jackie has a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Business from Arizona State University. She also received her Certificate in Corporate Citizenship Practice from Boston College, obtained a certificate from the International Association of Business Communicators on “Getting to the Heart of Sustainable Employee Engagement” and is a graduate of Gilbert Leadership. As part of her community leadership, Jackie donates her time and talents as the Board Vice President for Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology as well as she is the Board Secretary for Jack Sullivan Foundation for Life & Learning.
