Our definition of “triple bottom line” is revenue from products that fall under the intelligent power and sensing umbrella and products that contribute to the triple bottom line – People, Planet, Profit. The categories of People and Planet are self explanatory; the “profit” category refers to any product that contributes to an organization’s ability to provide economic benefit to society by enabling more efficient and productive operations.

Avoided Emissions: Enabling More Efficient AI Infrastructure

While greenhouse gas inventories measure a company’s operational and upstream footprint, avoided emissions quantify a company’s impact on global decarbonization efforts through their products. With high-efficiency power technologies from grid to GPU, onsemi is delivering up to a 2% efficiency improvement compared to competitors.

In 2025, onsemi sold data center ecosystem products that enabled lower energy loss and electricity consumption, resulting in approximately 524,000 metric tons of avoided CO2e emissions compared to a standard scenario.

Using the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) framework, methodology and results underwent third-party critical review and received limited assurance following ISO 14071 standards.

Product Carbon Footprint: Carbon Intelligence Strengthens Customer Relationships

Product carbon footprint (PCF) capability helps onsemi move beyond responding to data requests toward collaborating with customers on the decisions that shape lower-carbon products and supply chains.

PCF results are calculated using an ISO 14067-assured methodology.
