onsemi’s Silicon Carbide (SiC) Technologies Enable Next Generation Energy Infrastructure System Designs

Registration Deadline: May 18th, 2022

Accelerating decarbonization is driving a demand shift towards the installation of more energy infrastructure systems including DC fast chargers (DCFC), solar inverters and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Adopting Silicon carbide (SiC) based power stages plays a critical role in reducing power losses, increasing power density, and reducing cooling costs. Selecting highly robust SiC power devices built with infrastructure-class reliability in mind is a key part of designing best-of-breed long lasting, rugged energy infrastructure systems.
