onsemi is proud of our steadfast commitment to build stronger and healthier communities where we live, work and play! The generosity of our employees is evident through the time, talent and money they donate to foster more successful, safe and healthy communities. Today, April 3, the Arizona community celebrates Arizona Gives Day to raise awareness about Arizona nonprofits and the critical role they play in our communities and state.

Our global corporate giving program allows us to learn and support our employees’ passions for charitable causes as well as the most pressing needs within our communities in the areas of disaster relief, environment, health, human services and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education. In addition to matching financial contributions employees make to charitable organizations; a unique element of our program also enables employees to nominate charities corporate donation. We strongly believe that this is a meaningful way to support to both our employees and communities. Some of the Arizona organizations we have teamed up with include:

Additionally, we offer charitable organizations and educational institutions the opportunity to apply for competitive grants that are awarded on a quarterly cycle. The grants are administered by a committee of onsemi employees who represent our sites globally to ensure the funding requests meet the company’s guidelines and align with our giving priorities. In recent months, we have also issued grants to local nonprofits such as:

We believe our role in the community involves both cash and noncash contributions. To encourage employees to volunteer their time, talent, energy and effort in the community, onsemi has introduced an employee volunteer for employees in the U.S. and Canada. Through the program, employees may volunteer with a registered charitable organization or educational institution of their liking during the work week and still get paid for doing so. Each employee in North America is provided up to one full work day per year.

As a corporate citizen, we look forward to building and strengthening partnerships with nonprofit organizations throughout the communities where we operate with the goodwill and generosity of our employees.
