Tobin Cookman

Bio

Tobin Cookman has more than 15-years of experience in human resources within technology-based companies. In early 2013 he was named Senior Vice President of the company’s worldwide Human Resources (HR) department. Mr. Cookman has been with the company since its inception in 1999, holding management positions of growing responsibility within the HR team. Currently, he is responsible for leading an experienced and geographically diverse global team of HR professionals. He has been instrumental in implementing new hiring and retention strategies, building and aligning the organizations’ talent pool with onsemi overall corporate strategy, and leading global compliance and ethics efforts. Prior to his SVP appointment, Mr. Cookman had executive HR responsibilities for the Americas and corporate client relations. These duties included HR strategy, talent development, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, HRIS and HR activities related to numerous mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining onsemi, he held management positions with Motorola and several nonprofit organizations.

Mr. Cookman holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Liberal Arts.
