Quad-core Flexibility
With five times more processing power than previous systems, the exceptionally power efficient Ezairo 7100 System-on-Chip (SoC) provides built-in flexibility to support evolving algorithm, wireless and system-level needs.
The high-precision quad-core architecture is the industry’s most integrated, flexible and power efficient single chip solution. When combined with non-volatile memory and wireless transceivers, it forms a complete hardware platform.
- The fully programmable 24-bit dual-MAC DSP core is optimized to run advanced, computationally intensive hearing aid algorithms. It is also used to configure the entire system and coordinate the signal data flow.
- The ARM® Cortex™-M3 processor supports wireless protocols and complements the DSP core with special error-correction and audio coding support.
- The highly flexible HEAR configurable accelerator engine performs many different types of audio processing functions, including, low-delay, high-fidelity filterbank processing in the time domain or frequency domain.
- The new Filter Engine implements efficient time-domain filters and supports an ultra-low delay audio path of 44 µs for superior performance of features such as occlusion management.
Ultra-Low-Power Consumption
Industry-leading power consumption of less than 0.5 mW @ 10.24 MHz helps system designers achieve the most challenging power consumption targets in high-end devices.
Programmable Flexibility
Major audio signal processing tasks are processed by specialized cores while the programmable DSP enables additional signal processing capabilities to be implemented in software. Designed specifically for hearing aids and hearing implant devices, the open architecture allows algorithms and features to be customized to the specific signal processing needs of manufacturers.

Ultra-high Audio Fidelity
85 dB system dynamic range, input dynamic range up to 110 dB, along with low system noise help to preserve detailed sound.
Wireless Control
The integrated wireless controller supports efficient data transfer to and from wireless transceivers. Compatible with various wireless technologies (NFMI, RF) including multi-radio systems.
