Overview

The MC74VHC2G17 is a dual buffer with Schmitt trigger input. The MC74VHC2G17 input structures provide protection when voltages up to 5.5 V are applied, regardless of the supply voltage. This allows the MC74VHC2G17 to be used to interface 5 V circuits to 3 V circuits.

The MC74VHC2G17 can be used to enhance noise immunity or to square up slowly changing waveforms.
