Overview

ON Semiconductor’s AR0143AT is a 1/4−inch CMOSdigital image sensor with a 1344Hx968V active−pixel array.It captures images in either linear, high dynamic range, orLFM modes, with a rolling−shutter readout. The LFM modeeliminates high frequency LED flicker in the imageallowing Traffic Sign Reading (TSR) algorithms to operatein all lighting conditions. It includes sophisticated camerafunctions such as in−pixel binning, windowing and bothvideo and single frame modes. It is designed for both lowlight and high dynamic range scene performance, withsensor fault detection features that can enable ASIL Bcompliance for the camera system. It is programmablethrough a simple two−wire serial interface. The AR0143ATproduces extraordinarily clear, sharp digital pictures, and itsability to capture both continuous video and single framesmakes it the perfect choice for a wide range of applications,including automotive ADAS, automotive scene viewing,and 720p HDR video.
