The portfolio of EMI Filters from ON Semiconductor includes a variety of EMI filtering devices that have ESD protection to provide a very high level of protection for electronic components sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). They safely dissipate ESD strikes beyond the maximum requirement of the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard, up-to or exceeding MIL-STD-883 (Method 3015) specifications. The EMI Filters support between 1 to 8 lines and a variety of interfaces, including SIM Card, Display Port, General I/O, USB 2.0/3.0, DVI, HDMI 1.3/1.4, MIPI, and Audio. Filter types include R-C, L-C, Common Mode, High-Side Reverse Bias, and Low-Side Reverse Bias. The ideal performance characteristics and features of the portfolio of EMI filters include I/O port protection, EMI filtering prevents noise from entering and leaving the system, excellent broadband attenuation of radiated noise from data lines across all wireless carrier bands, high common mode stop band attenuation, low capacitive loading, low channel input capacitance provides superior impedance matching, reverse-bias protection with nanoseconds of reverse-bias blocking response time, and integrated TVS Over Voltage Suppression. Applications include EMI filtering for data ports, including SIM Card slot, HDMI/DVI Display, MIPI D-PHY (CSI-2, DSI, etc.), USB2.0, and other high-speed differential data Lines in Mobile Phones and Digital Cameras, PDAs, notebook computers, LCD, USB Hubs, and Computer Motherboards. The portfolio also includes AEC-Q101 Qualified and PPAP Capable options specifically engineered and qualified for automotive industry applications.
