The portfolio of single and dual-channel Phototransistor Output DC Sensing Input Optocouplers from ON Semiconductor consist of gallium arsenide (GaAs) or high-efficiency aluminum gallium arsenide (AlGaAs) infrared light-emitting diodes optically coupled to silicon phototransistors in small 4, 6, or 8-pin packages. The input-output isolation voltage, VISO, is rated at 2,500 to 5,000 VAC RMS. They provide a high current transfer ratio at both low output voltage and low input current. The portfolio's ideal performance characteristics and features include excellent CTR linearity at high temperature, data rates up to 150 kbits per second, and high Breakdown Collector to Emitter Voltage. The devices achieve the following safety and regulatory approvals: UL1577 and DIN-EN/IEC60747-5-5. They are ideally suited for high-density applications, such as AC-DC Merchant Power Supplies, Consumer Appliances, Industrial Motors and programmable logic control, DC-DC Converters, For ground loop isolation, signal to noise isolation, and Communications adapters and chargers.
