LV8806 brushless motor controller

Hi,

Sorry of this is the wrong category but couldn’t find the right one (only had available site feedback or connectivity). I am looking for a low power, 3V sensorless brushless dc motor controller and came across the LV8806. I have two questions:

  1. In regards to the direction control pin, can this be changed dynamically or must it be fixed at start up and remain fixed?
  2. In the case of a Beat Lock as described in the application note, is this condition reported by the RD pin as motor locked?
  3. Are there any specs in regards to the minimum BEMF constant that the motor should have to work with this IC?
