We have started to see issues with sensitivity caused by an increase in internal noise figure of the AX5043.
We know from many years that the built in LNA NF is supposed to be around 4.5-5.5 dB. However right now we have one chip whocj shows a NF of 8 dB.
This seems to me to be too far off the specification, and I am wondering what kind of variance you expect in your production of these devices.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but ever since you changed foundry the chip seems to behave a little different than it used to. For example the external VCO inductor has to be 82 nH where it used to be 93 nH.
So again, what is the NF supposed to be. Because a 3 dB variation between chips seems to be too much.
