Server, computing, telecom, and consumer electronics applications require high current point-of-load (PoL) devices to power a multitude of auxiliary systems. These power supplies need to be efficient, compact, and easy to use with the right features for control, telemetry, and protection.

LDOs and linear regulators are an alternative solution where extremely low noise power supplies are required, such as image sensors, SSDs, and RF power.
