A 6.6kW OBC evaluation board using Totem pole topology

Overview

This 6.6kW OBC evaluation board provides a reference design on the power stage of totem pole interleave PFC topology which consists of 650V N-Channel Power MOSFET SUPERFET® III (NVHL025N65S3), monolithic high- and low-side gate-driver IC (FAN7191_F085) in low-speed leg, high switching performance SiC MOSFET (NVHL060N090SC1), Isolated High Current and High Efficiency IGBT driver (NCV57000DWR2G) in high-speed leg. With these high performance devices and totem pole topology, the system efficiency reaches 97% (typical value), and hardware protection of OCP and OVP is also provided for high system reliability. Onboard auxiliary power system is designed to supply every circuits on the board and the control board without outside DC source.
