Overview

The demo board supports the PMOS LDO regulator NCP189 in WDFN6 2 x 2 mm package with adjustable output voltage and input voltage in range from 1.6 V up to 5.5 V. It is a 500 mA very low dropout device equipped with PMOS pass transistor.
The device provides very stable, accurate output voltage with low noise suitable for space constrained, noise sensitive applications. In order to optimize performance for battery operated portable applications, the NCP189 features low IQ consumption.
The device is available with or without active discharge feature.
