Overview

The NCP13994MM360GEVB is a 360 W AC-DC all-in-one power-supply evaluation board for computers, server power supplies and similar equipment requiring a regulated 12 V input rail. The design combines the NCP1618 multimode PFC controller, NCP13994 current-mode LLC resonant controller, NCP4318 synchronous rectifier controller and NCP431 programmable shunt regulator in a complete power-conversion platform. Operating from 90 to 265 Vac, the board delivers up to 12 Vdc at 30 A.

The NCP1618 PFC stage supports near-unity power factor and low input-current distortion, while the NCP13994 controls the half-bridge LLC stage and integrates 700 V gate drivers. Secondary-side synchronous rectification using the NCP4318 reduces conduction losses, and the NCP431 provides output-voltage regulation through the isolated feedback loop. Coordinated operating and skip modes support high efficiency, fast transient response and low no-load power consumption.
