PoE Interface Intelligent LED Driver Evaluation Kit, IEEE 802.3bt, with Active Bridges

Overview

The NCL310xx family of intelligent LED drivers target high efficiency, single or multi-channel, connected luminaire applications. Ideally suited for Visible Light Communication and managed lighting systems, capable of handling 100W+, the NCL31010 incorporates an IEEE802.3bt certified PoE-PD interface and a high efficiency buck LED driver, supporting high-linearity high-bandwidth analog, PWM, as well as digital dimming, down to zero current.
Featuring a very high degree of integration, two auxiliary DC-DC converters are provided to power a microcontroller, sensors and additional peripherals. Including accurate metrology to measure and report back the input and output current and voltage, LED temperature and DC-DC voltages, while a whole range of fault protections and diagnostics cover device, application and user safety.
