The FUSB302BGEVB evaluation board provides a complete platform for evaluating the FUSB302B programmable USB Type-C port controller with USB Power Delivery. The FUSB302B performs Type-C attach and detach detection, determines cable orientation and supports source, sink or dual-role port configurations. Its integrated BMC physical layer enables USB Power Delivery communication, power-role and data-role swaps, and negotiation of power levels up to 100 W.

The board connects to a PC through a Micro-USB interface and includes control software for automatic state-machine operation or direct manual configuration of FUSB302B registers and functions. Engineers can configure the EVB as a dedicated source, dedicated sink or dual-role port, monitor Type-C and PD states, inspect protocol messages and execute configuration scripts. Test points also provide access to CC, VBUS, VCONN and I²C signals for laboratory measurements and system-level debugging.
