Hello, I have been trying to put together step-up regulator with 34063, and use Darlington pairs to boost up the output current to 2A. The regulator supply is a 20W solar panel, supplying 20V and almost 1A of current at full sun. I have a lot a D882 transistors which I would like to use, but I am failing to find the right resistor value to set between base and emitter to get the correct VBE. Can you help me suggesting either a resistor value that would work with a D288 or a different transistor/resistor pair? Thanks

All supporting material for the MC34063 is available at technical documentation and design resources . The part number D882 is not ON semiconductor product. Please refer to our application schematic for step-up topology with an external switch. Answered by:
