We are using a NCP1605 for PFC and Pre- regulator in 95W PSU driving 30 x 3W RGB LEDs. Works OK on 230V. Works OK on 120V when ambient temp is low. However when local ambient exceeds 80 Deg C the NCP1605 starts to shut down, and Pre-regulation becomes erratic. Data sheet states this IC is OK up to 100 Deg C. Are there any problems or changes in characteristics that occur above 80 Deg C?
