When will you have a low cost (under $1.00) driver to power (350 mil amps - 1,5 amps) a Individual LED from a 12v source? And preferably with all the perks. (current protection, dimming etc.)??????????\n\nUltimately this way I can custom create my products with 1 to 1,000's of LED's with out changing up drivers again and again. I notice the flash light market has them but the supply voltage and form factor doesn't help me.

As a low cost and reliable solution, you can consider NCP3066 with the online greenpoint design tool available at:\nhttp://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/pr ... id=NCP3066 \nCAT4201 is another option to get small form fit factor dimmable LED driver:\nhttp://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/pr ... id=CAT4201 \n\nThanks.
