I have a customer with a legacy design using the UC3844N, which is EOL, with no suggested replacement. He was looking at the UC3844BN, which is also EOL, with no suggested replacement. Your system shows a UC3844BNG still active. Do you have any type of feature set comparison or is there a reason the BNG wouldn't work in lieu of a N?? Pleae advise.

The UC3844B is very similar to the "Non-B" part except we guarantee the oscillator at 250 kHz and the tolerances are a bit tighter. Answered by:
