I need to generate 3.3V from a LiFePO4 cell, the cell voltage is minimum 2.7V and maximum 3.6V. Thus a form of buck/boost is needed. Output current requirement is between 1 and 2A. A module solution would be better at the moment but in volume is can be converted to discrete solution

Please refer to our MC34163 Switching Regulator and MC3163 Switching Regulator.

The NCP3163 Switching Regulator Series is a performance enhancement to the popular MC33163 and MC34163 monolithic DC−DC converters. These devices consist of an internal temperature ompensated reference, comparator, and controlled duty cycle oscillator with an active current limit circuit, driver and high current output switch.
