Can NCP1605 be used for 400Hz ~ 800 Hz AC input?

I see no theoretical limitation at least as long as you operate in critical conduction mode (CrM).
In discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), so called “VTON processing block” modulates the on-time in response to the dead-time to continue properly shaping the current. This block has a low-frequency pole that may play a role.
Please further note that at these line-frequency levels, the input filter must be optimized to limit the reactive current circulating within it. If not, PF will drop. This is discussed in below post.
