I want to design a buck converter from 170VAC to 260VAC as input and 135vDC as output with an input power factor greater than 0.9.

Based on the limited information provided regarding your application I can suggest our new Combination Power Factor Correction Controller and Flyback Controller NCp1927.Please see the datasheet for more details at: http://www.onsemi.com/pub_link/Collateral/NCP1927-D.PDF \n\nAnother option is the NCP1652 a highly integrated controller for implementing power factor correction (PFC) and isolated step down ac-dc power conversion in a single stage. Please visit our web site for more details regarding this part at: \nhttp://www.onsemi.com/pub_link/Collateral/NCP1652-D.PDF \nThank you. Answered by:
