Hello there! I have a question on NCP59748, the very low-dropout regulator, which has two output pins but just one feedback ( FB ) pin. I wonder if there were two divided op-amps in the IC package, the Vout of op-amp connected with two output pins separately and the feedback circuit are attached together in the IC. I searched the datasheet but it seems that the simplified application circuit showed only one output pin in the datasheet file. I have no clue that if the other output pin is just like what I think. Please let me know the detail of NCP59748 and I appreciate your kindness. Best Regards, Jack Huang

The NCP59748 is dual – rail very low dropout voltage regulator. Because of two power supply inputs VIN and VBIAS and one VOUT regulator output, there are two Dropout voltages specified. The first, the VIN Dropout voltage is the voltage difference (VIN – VOUT) when VOUT starts to decrease by percent specified in the Electrical Characteristics table.

VBIAS is high enough, specific value is published in the Electrical Characteristics table. The second, VBIAS dropout voltage is the voltage difference (VBIAS – VOUT) when VIN and VBIAS pins are joined together and VOUT starts to decrease.

One can refer to our test procedure of our evaluation board where you can see proper connection of the NCP59748.
