High-Voltage Interfaces
Motor control and electrical distribution applications require devices that can withstand higher voltage levels and dense logic devices to handle high-gate IP cores. We offer several mixed-signal CMOS and BCDMOS processes. Our I3T80 mixed-signal process features 80V high-voltage DMOS devices and is dense enough for an area-optimized integration of a 32-bit microcontroller, OTP memory, Flash, and business protocol IP such as CAN or Ethernet.
Arc fault detection, motor protections, motor drive and control, and PLCs are just a few of the factory automation and power transmission applications that are based on our high-voltage interface technology.
Building control system and white good vendors count on our high-voltage interfaces to protect motor drives and motor and valve controls in a variety of products including HVAC systems, washers, dryers, and refrigerators. Our Motor driver stages feature protection circuits such as integrated current measurement, current limitation and short-circuit detection.
