Energy Efficiency

ON Semiconductor is a leader in high efficiency power conversion and intelligent power management with complete solutions addressing the low output voltage and low noise requirements of the communications market with its broad portfolio of switching power supply solutions, LDO and voltage regulators. Complementing these solutions is a complete line of MOSFETs, rectifiers and Schottky diode components.

We are also a leader in thermal management products aimed at maximizing energy efficiency of cooling systems in large and small installations. Our suite of sensors, fan controllers and thermal management systems are focused on optimizing this significant portion of the system-level energy budget.

Our design engineers can develop a turn key design, you can hand-off a completed design or we can cost reduce an existing design using our world-class conversion capability. We convert FPGA designs into lower cost, lower power and higher performance ASICs. We offer standard cell solutions down to the 110nm node. An extensive IP library supports designs with advanced interfaces for DDR memory, high speed serial communications (SERDES) and a multiude of other functions. Our digital and mixed-signal ASICs have been designed into products ranging from set-top boxes, DSLAMs and optical infrastructure equipment to wireless base-stations and network routers and switches.
